I am pregnant and type 2, and after my last scan, high blood pressure was diagnosed (it may be white coat syndrome, but that's a different can of worms.)
I got Labetalol and since taking it my blood sugars, measured with a Libre 2, have been between 4 and 6. Sometimes it shows lower blood sugars, although I never had hypos, but never over 6. I haven't changed what I eat, so I would expect a large salad or today's dinner with tomatoes to bring the blood glucose towards 7.
My diabetic nurse doesn't have an explanation and I cannot find lower blood glucose as side effect.
Does anyone here have an explanation?
