Lowered my 1AC.

Ok, so I started on a pump the end of Nov, started pumping insulin on the 28th Nov, had my 1AC done at Kings College on the 17th Oct and it came back as 8.3% at that time I was still on injections. Professor Ameil, said I needed a pump so got to pick one, so started saline and a week later started insulin. Saw. My DSN at Kings who is brilliant and did another 1AC on 20th Dec and it's now 7.9, not great I know but at least it's going in the right direction.

Very good start on pump, especially as your a1c is in a short space of time since starting your pump.

Went back to my local hospital, yesterday and they did another 1AC, it has now come down to 7.6%, so another drop of .3. I can not get over how quickly it has come down. In such a short time since starting to pump.
