Mixed seeds, mix chopped nuts, chia seed. pumpkin seed,
A few frozen summer fruits
Salted almond protein powder
P,nut butter
W wheatflour , almond flour
Soft marg or butter
No sugar yog, protein yog, or coconut yog
Linda 90% chocolate

I can have fat, only as i weigh about 45 kg.
Cards and sugar need to be lowish total for , say 50g bar.
I can mix any of the above or buy other, mix or cook , My difficulty is how to make them a slightly soIid bar
Any ideas??

If you want a solid nutty type bar you need to leave out the wet ingredients like yoghurt
, I’d also leave out the flours

So any nuts & seeds experiment & mix with nut butter and the chocolate & butter - not soft marg - nasty stuff & too low melt point - can’t give you quantities without experimenting myself & I don’t eat that type of thing

Search google for low carb nut bar recipes may give you some ideas?

Thanks I have reason for using at the moment. For a while between or at a meal. Id prefer fruit but can't experi, ent with that right now.

How about using freeze dried strawberries or raspberries in place of the frozen fruit?
The reduced moisture would make it more solid. Perhaps coconut flour, which seems to be more absorbent than almond flour, with a mix out nut butter, melted chocolate, coconut oil?
Only suggestions, mind you. I think you would need to experiment a bit with quantities and ingredients. I haven’t tried this myself, either.
Do come back and tell us how they turn out.

Here’s a recipe pretty near to your list, not everything but then as a chef with bakery experience in my opinion I don’t think your full list is conducive for a firm nutty bar - you can modify the recipe to add maybe coconut flakes, extra seeds & @Pipp suggestion of freeze dried or a few bits of dried fruit would definitely work, the frozen fruit just wouldn’t at all

Thanks for the tips. I may give it a try, but am stopping my once a day Levemir for Humulin x 1 . My diabetes doc has just messaged me to say to stick to regular meals with no extras til the dose is fixed.
