My daughter is type 1 and says that her dextrose tablets make her feel sick. I've started to give her lucozade, is this ok?

Thank goodness, as I've had to rely on them on occasions, hospital appointments taking far longer than expected for instance.
Lucazade however, pushes my sugar level sky high. On the plus side though, very handy to have a small emergency bottle in the fridge in case of a hypo. Don't know what others would think about that though.
