hi my sugar level is 7.6 i drank some lucozade 12 mins later doesnt seem to raise is this normal?.
 
now its 9.5 after 25 minutes does it sound like it slow to raise or does it seem normal?.
 
I always try and wait at least 15 min between tests when treating a hypo .................

not sure what you were drinking Lucozade for if starting BG is 7.5

25 minutes for BG to raise is not unusual though
 
Why would you want to raise your level if already 7.6?

It would depend if you had any insulin working and whether your BS was dropping or rising before you drank it.

I find Lucozade starts to raise my BS in approx 5 minutes but I've only drunk it when low.
 
7.6 is not a level where you need to drink lucozade.Why did you think you needed it?
 
More information is required to answer your question with any accuracy.

Most of us only drink this stuff to get us out of a hypo.
