Lump On Finger Joint

I’m hoping someone can answer what feels like a strange question for me please.

I was diagnosed T2D three months ago and have done LCHF for the three months, and my latest blood test was 40 which I’m really pleased about.

I have a weird lump appeared today on my left hand middle finger, right on the knuckle. It isn’t sore, but is just unusual for me, and looks like a callus but without any reason.

Is this related to my diabetes?

Best to get it checked out by the doctor. It's soooo easy to use diabetes as the reason for all our odd aches, pains, lumps and bumps.
