Lunch - how good/bad?

Diet drinks - the artificial sweeteners taste vile.
Having to forswear foods I have loved all my life.
Trying to find low carb meals when eating out.
Lunch today was two slices of Vogel bread <http://www.ocado.com/webshop/getProductDetails.do?sku=22202011&parentContainer=000118264> spread with Quark and some smoked salmon in the middle.

Very tasty, but how good/bad?
 
Hi Dave,

This sounds a lot better than your high-carb breakfast. I don't know what the carb value is of Vogel bread, but lets say it's no more than wholemeal brown bread at 15g per slice. Quark when used as a spread is around 4g and the carbs in smoked salmon are negligible. So maximum carb load would be 34g (but probably lower because I suspect Vogel is a low-carb bread).
