Chicken thighs or drumsticks from the hot counter, sometimes they have other stuff like ham hock, the posher ones even have beef. Cooked prawns, smoked mackerel, pate with celery sticks, cold cooked salmon, salad bags or house salad pots without pasta, rice etcto go along side, most supermarkets have little pots of boiled eggs. If I’m ever in a cafe/pub etc and I get extra little packs of mayo, mustard etc with my meal I keep them in my bag to add to stuff when I’m out. You can buy them in packs in some supermarkets. I’ve had little pots of strawberries with little tubs of cream in the past, just check they aren’t sweetened. Subway do salad bowls. Nando’s chicken thighs, salad and broccoli sides.
