the confusion about what and what not to eat, provided by others who know it all!
I've just recently been changed from Fiasp to Lyumjev, although it seems to work very well, I find that in the evening my bs rises without me eating anything. I bolused about 5u last night just to get it down from 10.7 to about 7 on waking this morning. I there anything anyone could enlighten me as to what I might be doing wrong. thanks.

That's interesting. I am on Fiasp and have been for some time. Like you my bolus generally works very well, but also like you my bs jumps up in the evening even if I don't eat anything, and I need then to take a few bolus units. I did wonder if it was because my basal insulin (Tresiba) simply wasn't lasting as long as it should ? Dont know (and nor did my DSN ) but after a lot of practice I now just accept it's quirky and take a few extra bolus units as a norm. My Time in target (85%) and hbas (45) are good so I just accept and get on with it. Good luck.

Which long acting insulin are you on, and when do you take it?

I'm on Tresiba, I take 15u at 6pm , I wonder if taking it at a different time would be better ?? My bs seems to go down after taking Lyumjev correction dose about 10pm and then I get a level reading all night. It's all a bit hit and miss at the moment.
