Just under a year ago (June I think) I was referred to the hospital for my eyes where they confirmed I had Maculopathy which required no treatment and to be seen again in 3 months. With the current back logs I’m unsurprised that my 3 month appointment is only coming up next week, I chased and chased them with no update. I went to an optician appointment at the beginning of April and she said she could still see a couple of spots in both eyes but they looked the same as when my optician last looked and I probably wouldn’t need treatment again from the hospital. I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced this and whether it did just resolve on its own in time or you ended up needing treatment? Latest HbA1c is 40mmol/mol so no worries with control.
