One unit of insulin reduces BG by 3.
One unit of insulin increases BG by 3.
Have just been on a DAFNE course after trying to figure out my doses after no help for years and I am now getting sorted b following their information and invaluable help.
Lucozade is no1 treatment for me nothing else - certainly not food only food when coming out of hypo!
It is a struggle for anyone with type 1.
Each day is different and we can certainly say it is not boring ! Far from it...
