   I just cut my finger whilst chopping ham for my soup. I have everything else in my first aid drawer except plasters!!! So after hopping round the kitchen with a teatowel wrapped round my finger, I finally came up with a solution -

1 antisceptic wipe
1 pair of scissors
1 panty liner
I roll of double sided craft tape
pen and notepad

cut panty liner to finger sized shape and wrap around finger, use scissors to cut tape and bind panty liner to finger with said tape, use pen to add 'plasters' to shopping list - et voila :D

Must check the soup to make sure there are no bits of finger in there!

Extra protein :D

Gotta find new and inventive ways of adding protein to my diet ... I s'pose

Now I can't get the flipping craft tape off my finger ... been trying to unstick it for about 15 minutes!  Need a cuppa now.

Grace I often get caught short of plasters. We do the budget solution:-

Sheet of loo paper, folded a few times to add bulk and cut to approx size of wound, selotape to finger

Just a cheeky thought
What could a bloke use if no plasters or panty liners

Kitchen roll and micropore tape has done it for me in the past

Cling film is good to hold in place a piece of kitchen/loo roll if you've no panty liners, sellotape, micropore etc

It has the advantage of being aseptic too!
