My son, aged 38, has just announced that he's going to do a marathon next year and his chosen charities are Diabetes Uk and Multiple Myeloma (my husband died of the latter). I'm so proud of him.
 
No wonder you are so proud of him, lets hope he raises lot of money for two worthy causes.
 
Thanks Noblehead. I'm so chuffed about what he's doing on behalf of his chosen charities. I brought him up as a single parent and he's turned out to be a diamond:)

Thank you very much Chris, that's very kind of you. It's an unusual marathon in so much as it's a walk of 100km over two days from Richmond Park in London to Brighton. When he gets himself organised I'll post more details and hope there will be more like minded people like you. Thank you
