Sorry to hear about all the problems you have had to contend with. They must make everything seem a lot worse for you. The best thing is, you have recognized that you both have to and want to change things. Is the lack of control of the diabetes down to what you eat or other issues? I am type 2 and no expert by any means but diet is first and foremost for me and a lot on here as it can make or break your bg levels. I am sure more type one's will be along to help and advise you soon and in the meantime ....cheer up chuck...it will get betterHi you guys im Type 1 had it for nearly 17 years but never really had control of it to be fair, had numerous other health conditions and all tend to have a domino affect on each other, fitness didnt used to be an issue untill about 3 years back when i had a fee operations on hands for carpel tunnel and trigger finger release, and as it happens i have had about 6 ops on hands over last 3years so healing has been an issue for me as it stopped me from doing sport and going to the gym as i used to, now i have no motivation at all and its been getting me down now for a good while
