Hi Kevin - Vanessa Feltz is also talking about it on BBC Radio London! Woohoo! I've posted a thread on the Low Carb Forum.
I love the high profile, and the good advice, but I wish that all these things would emphasis that higher fat is only healthy if you cut the carbs proportionately.
The message IS in there. But it easily gets buried by the usual chuntering about calories.
Someone needs to come out and say, categorically that a High Fat, High Carb diet is a killer, so get those carbs down, if you are going to adopt a higher fat way of eating.
Trudy, one of the report writers, has just done this...she really was excellent.

The message definitely got lost on Today on Radio 4.. and a bit in the guardian..

still might help a few people doing some research.. hope @daisy1 is ready for the onslaught!
I know what you mean, non diabetics don't understand, my husband for one, just had a bit of a fall out with him he just does not understand.I just hope this message gets through to certain of my friends who scorn my way of eating and that their low fat plenty of carbs way of eating is best because it's healthier.
