Maxpedition bag modification

I'm sure there are many who use maxpedition bags, or similar... Love mine for carrying stuff, but thinking of making a sling for it as I can't find anything.

The maxpedition stuff has molle attachments on the rear, but I can't find a sling or similar to attach it to when I want my hands free.

Anyone made anything? I'm fully capable of sewing what I need, but some plans or a guide wouldn't go amiss!

Looking at the maxpedition website, they sell sling bags of varying sizes https://www.maxpedition.com/collections/sling-packs-1
Rather too expensive for me to consider though.
I just use a Baglett from the Healthy Back Bag Company https://www.thehealthybackbag.co.uk/shop/size/baglett
I find this big enough for two pens, a meter, test strips, dextrose lancets, needles, a credit card and keys.
I find you need a lot less space if you chuck the bulky meter case.
