Happy Beltaine Kat. I've enjoyed some belly pork and a loverly glass of red wine in celebration. Over the weekend I'll be decorating. Exciting, I know, but someone's got to do it! xx

Happy May Day Kat. I'm re~naming "May" to "Will". This month I will eat better, I will test more, I will be more positive, I will try to get out of flat more, I will lose weight this month. May even even fit in other stuff too lol

Love it , you must start with a I will thread, lovely to hear from you smartlady , how are you doing , did you ever meet anyone local ?
Really nice to be in touch ....Kat x

Well I've decided I'm not going to let the weather stop me doing anything in the future. It's actually nice walking in the rain, though I have to stop myself jumping in the puddles thesedays! xx

Ha ha , love it to, the rain is rather nice to walk in , I love washing wet clothes after getting wet , then getting really cosy again is very rewarding .....
Puddles ...you have made me think of dr foster !!!! :)

Only on a really good day & would need to walk with someone. Hence the comment about trying to get out of flat more. The world out there is really scary :(

There's meant to be a covering of frost over the weekend according to the Countryside forecast last Sunday, hope to get out in the garden and get the grass cut and tidy up......how exciting does life get

May Day was yesterday! :D....it rained..again. Getting **** cold here so it's nice to be warm and cosy inside. The cats are like a rug in front of the fire, it's still amazes me how much contented cats can sleep. I have my winter knitting project to plan today so a nice day for me. I don't plan on going out though, there's a bitter southerly blowing, coming straight off the Antarctic! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.........

I am glad my UK friends have Summer to look forward to though, it's good to know that somewhere in the world the bulbs are poking their heads up and all is getting ready to burst into life

Hi popsy, enjoy your cosy time , the cold can be very romantic as well ;) X
What are you knitting by the way ???
Yes the bulbs are looking great , took a photo of some lovely bluebells the other day ....:)

A Blessed Beltane to everyone. We are having a naming (Saining) ceremony on Sunday for my new Granddaughter Amber Rose. Born 14 weeks ago weighing only 2lbs 9ozs. She was 10 weeks early and a little fighter. I made this cake for her day.

Post a pic of the bluebells please? I could do with a nice reminder of Spring :)

Not sure what I will have for my Winter knitting project yet. At the mo I am knitting nice warm slippers for my daughter in law who has such bad circulation her feet are always cold poor girly. My last Winter project was a sweater for John, it's like he's wearing a blanket it's so thick :D I have no clothes that fit me anymore 'cos of my weight loss, so I think I might do something for me although as I'm a slow knitter it might have to be thick wool and big needles :p. About time I had something to wear, it's getting so I look like a clown in my big clown pants and huge tops, even my shoes are too big for me, how funny is that? Doesn't matter when we are at home though, we don't get many visitors and those we do get are used to seeing me hauling up my trousers and disappearing inside my baggy tops :hilarious:
