Of course, the title is facetious. I really appreciate awesome customer experiences and try to share when a company goes above and beyond.
My insurance here in the U.S wouldn't approve (pay for) my Accu-Chek Aviva Plus strips unless I was also on the Accu-Chek Insulin pump (they only cover the OneTouch brand).
However, I got a call from my local Accu-Chek rep who said she was going to try to see what she could do. She also overnight shipped me 150 test strips (about $300 here in the U.S.) free of charge while she worked with my insurance company.
Of course, nothing is ever "free" and I know she wants to win my account, but it's impressive she was willing to go to this length to at least try.
