Got me a dog back in September. Since then, my:

· daily insulin requirement has significantly reduced,

· BG control is much improved,

· number of hypos has reduced,

· peripheral neuropathy has dramatically improved and

· teenage children are better behaved.

It’s a b****y miracle. Cat’s a bit p****d off though.

Oh, go on, man, you're going to have to post some pooch pics now so we can see what the wee critter looks like!

I'd love a dog but work life doesn't allow it. I mentioned hypo dogs to some dog people at work and they were well up for that, not so much for my safety, they just fancied the idea of a mutt running around the office!

I'm thinking about just buying a pup and then strapping my cgm receiver onto it and telling HR it's a necessary adjustment they require to make under the Equality Act...
