Hi recently started insulin diagnosed with type 2 a year ago.
Currently work as a community staff nurse on night duty,having difficulty getting breaks.on a night shift recently didn't get a break until 330am, no support from managers feel like I am being forced to leave my job has anybody else faced these issues at work

Feel empathy with you....perhaps speak to your manager,if get no where then perhaps quote the equal rights to them,I know people get upset on here saying diabetes not disability,but you have a condition that needs monitoring and you need regularity regards snax/meals.....

Yep I think you will find it is the law that managment have to give you help to manage your condition I may be wrong , diabetes UK may well be able to assist you with this they may meet with your manager and explain to them what they need to do please get on to them they will help . The are a charity and it should not cost you anything
