Give it some time, it's not the end of the world.
Sometimes diabetes simply doesn't behave as we'd expect, and tomorrow is a new day!

Any chance the insulin could have ‘spoiled’. I think most fast acting is only good for a month out of the fridge.
I seem to remember one of the insulins I was on needed to be , not exactly shaken, but tipped from end to end in the pen, can’t remember if a long acting or a fast one.
as Antje77 says, give it time to work…
