Hello friends,

Everybody says that OLIVE OIL is much better than any aother oil for diabetes.

We know that UNSATURATED OIL like olive oil, is better than SATURATED OIL like butter.

But what about the OLIVE OIL and SUNFLOWER OIL comparison.

Can we still say thay OLIVE OIL is much better that SUNFLOWER OIL always or does it depend on some conditions like cooking styye ??

In other words, What is the exact meaning of SUNFLOWER OIL for diabetes ??

Olive oil is good.
Sunflower oil is bad, not only for diabetics.

I don't agree that unsaturated fat is better than saturated.

But I do think that it is very important to eat the correct balance of omega 3, 6 and 9, and that certain fats and oils have beneficial qualities.

I mainly cook with coconut oil, butter and olive oil. And I have double cream in... er... generous quantities ;)I've recently had rapeseed oil recommended to me, and will be getting some of that.

I supplement with flax seed oil and krill oil.

No part of those choices are affected by saturated v unsaturated.

Thanks for the answers.

I just want to make a correct comparison between OLIVE and SUNFLOWER SEED OIL.

Your comments are generally positive about SUNFLOWER SEED OIL.

If YES, Why do all the doctors say same think
"DONT FRY ANYTHING WITH SUNFLOWER SEED OIL AND NEVER EAT ANYTHING FRIED"

Frying is generally made with SUNFLOWER SEED OIL not with OLIVE OIL.

Maybe, that is why, everybody seems to be against SUNFLOWER SEED OIL.

Maybe they are not against SUNFLOWER SEED OIL, they are against FRIED FOOD

Am I right ?
