Mebeverine

Hi, I've not been on here in a while but I have a question. Has anyone been on mebeverine and if so did it affect your levels? I'm type one. My surgeon told me it would have no effect but as I've learned, specialists in one field often don't know that much about how things affect diabetes..
Thanks in advance :-)

Hi there and welcome to the forum. I have been taking mebeverine for about 8 years and am also Type 1. It does not seem to have any affect on my levels whatsoever.

Others may have different experiences with mebeverine but as stated it does not give me any issues around sugar levels !

Hi Kevin, thanks for your reply.
I know it was a while ago but can you remember when you first started taking them? I'm having some rather odd side effects I think. Did you have any? Initially, I thought I was coming down with something which would have explained feeling a bit odd and having high blood sugars. I'm not so sure now. Maybe a trip to the doctor I think..
Thanks again for your reply!
