Hi
Just had my medication changed from metformin and glimepride to insulin .Ive been prescribed 12 units of lantus and 4 units with every meal of novorapid .I started this on thursday and have found its making me ravenous .Is this normal ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated sugars still running quite high despite really trying .
 
Hi @Scottie2209 If your BG levels are running high then your body's cells are not getting the glucose they need and so you will naturally feel more hungry as a result, you will need to contact your team and discuss adjusting your insulin doses to get your levels down.
