is there a fob of sorts that I could put on my key chain that can connect to my cgm? something that would beep loudly in the case of a low in public?

any details on any device would be helpful, im a t1d and would love to have more info on the devices out there.

To be honest I just use my phone it is definitely loud enough when it alarms and I always have it with me ……….constantly

In addition to my phone alarms, CGM readings are also sent to my watch.which will vibrate on my wrist.
Works in loud environments..

A number of watches will display cgm levels but most need to be near the phone to work, which kind of defeats the object in my opinion.

I changed to apple when dexcom informed me that support for my 6 year old phone was about to be discontinued and now have an apple watch that does "direct to watch" so displays my levels in the absence of my phone, but not 100% reliably. It does however vibrate if my bg goes out of range.... and is reliable if my watch is present.

I can do the same with my Galaxy watch & Libre with juggluco. With wear OS Then pick the signal back up on the android phone, thus sending to watch..

@DiabetusDeletus I suppose you could look a some of the smaller novel blutooth speakers, (I've seen them quite small?) but it would still need connection to your phone.
I've had my music stop & my BT earbuds klaxon when low. Same principle..

Infact you could just try wearing an earbud if you want alarming loud but discreet?
