Medical Id Necklaces

hey everyone!
I was looking at medical identity necklaces and pendants,I am very private about my diabetes. I would really like something that to the untrained eye looks just like normal jewellery. Does anyone know of any place that do unique and unusual medical pendants. I would quite like something that's be specially made for me or something that's a bit different but can obviously be used to save my life haha.

Like you, I am rather private about my diabetes so have always avoided wearing medical alert jewellery.
However, now I have a pump, it is rather difficult to miss.

I can see your point about wearing something that, to the untrained eye, looks like normal jewellery.
However, I would be concerned that it could be missed as I would not expect paramedics' eyes to be overly trained in this area.
I would love someone to correct me!

One option could be a tattoo. I know there are few people on the forum with these but I am too squeamish.

Got one on eBay, small disk with diabetes etched with a small bag like pendant with a cross overlaying it. Can be attached to anything like a charm and costs less than £5.
Just search for I'd bands etc. on eBay.

Surely the point of a medical alert pendant is that it's very visible?

Be proud if your diabetes. Don't hide it.

I watched a young girl on YouTube talk about how people point at her pump and whisper. I can honestly say in nearly 30 years of being diabetic that Noone has ever pointed at me, whispered about me or anything like that. And even if they did, who cares?

Your diabetes is a significant part of you. Don't be shy or scared. Embrace it and enjoy your life. I know a few people with diabetes related tattoos!
