i was diagnosed earlier in the year after much frustation after a hospital visit for my asthma. i was put on metformin at first loved it as i felt great again but after another hospital visit for my asthma they found i had rare side effect called lactic acidosis and was put on gliclazide but since being on that ive piled on the pounds and also read i shouldnt be on it as under the fertility hosp. im currently waiting to see my consultant to hopefully change this but is there anything else they are likely to try me with?
