Been taking galvusmet 50/1000
For more than 4 years now.

Though I stop most times I go on a diet.

I observed that I do well on my numbers whenever I take low carb diets than even the medication.

The pills temporarily drop my numbers, it is very costly here in Nigeria as of now.

Two years ago, a card of 10 caplets was 3,700, today the same thing cost 8,600.

So I opted to get my low carb diets, the challenge being that the vegetables and other food stuffs aren't cheap either, but my numbers seem to be ok for random and fasting as well.

Question
Can I diet low carb and only take pills when I take too much carbs?

Hi @Buse Doctor

I’m afraid we can’t answer your question or give advice on how and when you take your medication, except to say that the medication you are on is not meant to be used that way, if you’ve found you don’t need it if you eat a low carb diet why not just stick to that?, I appreciate that food stuffs are expensive for you & it can be difficult to keep to a lifestyle that is best for you if cost becomes prohibitive, is this the reason you sometimes have to eat too many carbs for you personally or is it just by choice such as taste convenience?
