With type 2 diabetes - I am prescribed 1 diamicron 30mg, 1 trajenta 5 mg, and 3 metformin 500 mg, does this seem a lot to take?

Hi. Diamicron is the same as Gliclazide used in the UK and Trajenta is one of the Gliptin family, so you are on the same set of tablets as me, but different doses. Three level tablets is the last stop before insulin unless you are overweight in which case there are other injectables to try. What was your last HBa1C? Are you overweight? Are you on a low-carb diet? If you are normal weight and on the good diet, then I'm afraid insulin may not be far away. If you are overweight and not on a low carb diet then this is a high priority before reviewing your meds.
