Hi i been diagnosied with type two diabetes for about 6 yrs I been taken 2x 500mg twice daily and been given Pioglitazone from yesterday but my doctor wants me to go on to the injections Byetta or Liraglutide i am very wary of this due to the fact he gave me Avandia (rosiglitazone) for 5 yrs and i should never have been taken it . Due to the fact i am over weight and it was dangerous for me to be on it . I would like to hear off anyone who is on these injections and what they feel and think of it ..Thank You

Hi, I was on byetta for about 8 months and found it very good. I didn't have any side affects and I also lost weight using. It can't hurt to try if your doctor has recommended it.
