Hi, I have been controlling my blood sugar with diet and exercise for over 8 years now, lately I had a sprained angle and my blood sugar is going out of line, especially Early in the morning. This situation has lasted about a month now and I was wondering if I should talk to my doctor to prescribe diabetes pills to control my blood sugar or I should wait until my injury is healed? Any advice?

I've been taking zopiclone since 2008 (not diabetic for reasons) and yes I can't sleep if I don't take 1. I take them every night.
