Meds review

Taken off Linagliptin to see how I go.Hba1c end of march to check whats happening.Now just taking 4 Metformin a day.If i see much higher waking numbers she said I can restart them,just have to keep them informed.Fingers crossed!

Fbg going up so phoned DN to tell her i was back on linagliptin.had to leave a message but she rang back.I am not to re-start meds.If fbg goes above 9,I am to arrange a review!Could they be rising because I have a cold/blocked sinuses?

It’s possible, particularly if you have an infection due to the sinuses. A number of people on these forums report elevated readings when they are unwell.

At least you know you can quickly get a review appointment with your DN if there is no improvement.
