I have been on the Advance for the last 6 months. Not had any issues with them as yet
Where do you mostly use them? Stomach?
Also how do you hold them when inserting? I generally have fingers around the bottom of the inserter and then press the top.
thanks may try thumb to press.Stomach and legs. I use one hand - place the insertor wherever it is going, fingers wrapped around it hen use my thumb to press the button
Hi everyone, I recently upgraded my Medtronic 670G to the 770G. Before I was using the MiniMed Mio, and I decided to upgrade to the Mio Advance. Every time I attempt to use one, it bruised badly and started bleeding. So far I have attempted using 4 of them from a 10 box... Medtronic is sending 2 silhouettes to try. However as of now I’m very thankful to still have some of the MinMed Mio which that will be discontinuing in the month of February...Hi all
On my last batch of Medtronic Mio Advance infusion sets I found it impossible to insert a new set.
Every attempt it was quite painful and bled when I removed it.
Normally use lower back so even tried stomach which went in without much pain but then started to pain after 30 mins and again bled after removing.
I called them today and they say could be the sets so they sending replacements.
I have issues like this on and off but usually 2nd try I get it in ok.
Anyone else with similar experience?
