Hi

I recently started on a medtronic insulin pump and was given 10 infusion sets and have 4 left so i want to order more.

The thing is my DSN was meant to come a week ago with paper work but never came so im unsure about what to do and even whether they will come before Christmas.

Any advice would be appreciated
 
I would ring up Medtronic and try and order before you run out. All well if they have you registered - you can sort out the paper work with your DSN afterwards. The way my LHB does it is that they give me a purchase order for the year and I quote this when I order. If your hosp do the same it shouldn't take long to arrange - but we are talking NHS and nothing seems to happen that quickly especially things like this that require some good planning and administration skills. Phone the DSN if Medtronic won't send them, I'd do this ASAP as it is getting close to Xmas & if the weather turns bad it might mess up their deliveries.
