The other day I received an email from Medtrum offering me FOC a new and improved version of their A6 transmitter with 1 sensor, I've obviously signed up for it and it's been delivered today. Just wondering if anyone else has gone for it, or using it or knows more specifically what the actual improvements are?

@slip I'm in the same situation. I tested the previous version back in October & it wasn't very good.
In the letter they mention an updated transmitter & an updated sensor but I don't know anything specific.
I have seen mention of an S7 sensor in Spain:
Wonder if it's the same as this update?
I've had the new one on for 1.5 days & so far it looks a lot better.
Time will tell..

I haven’t put mine on yet, have physio on Monday and have no idea what they’re going to do so don’t want it to get in the way or anything, all being well I’ll be putting it on a Monday evening.

@slip The Medtrum lasted about 12 days before becoming too noisy & unreliable. Up to that time it was pretty good, a big improvement on the version I previously tried.

I managed to snag the first one, they were kind enough to replace the sensor, the next failed after 3 days, which was also replaced not yet started though. Can’t say accuracy is any better - i didn’t have any issue with accuracy with the previous version. I spoke with a member of staff at medtrum and he said the main upgrade was with the built in algorithm.
