I have been using the Medtrum Nano CGM for a few months.
There have been times when it has struggled but most of the time it is ok.
It helps if I calibrate when my levels are stable between 5 and 7. Higher or lower and I end up jumping between too high and too low for 24 hours.
During the heatwave, my sensor coped about as well as I did - it survived but was unhappy. It seemed to be restricted to report between 4.5 and 8.5 which led to a few nasty hypos as the heat made my insulin sensitivity increase and the auto suspend didn’t happen. Since the weather has returned to normal, so has the sensor.
I don’t bother with bedding in although I really needed to when I had Libre. I am not keen on leaving the sensor exposed with no transmitter.
I usually calibrate first thing in the morning and last thing at night but CGM changes seem to be at random times, usually in the afternoon a few hours after lunch.
