Hi all
My pump is due for renewal imminently and I’m stuck as to what to get!
I have ongoing Dexcom G6 funding from my trust and the choice of omnipod, ypsopump and Medtrum.
I’m currently on omnipod and really like the tubeless patch pump.
I’m not going for ypsopump because their app and algorithms for closed loop aren’t available on iOS devices yet, and I’m put off by the tubing again.
I’m tempted by omnipod but their closed loop upgrade won’t be rolled out til summer 2023 and there’s no guarantee I’ll be able to get the upgrade to the 5 if I renew now.
Medtrum has been added to the list which is a new one for me, I’m waiting to hear back from the rep.
Has anyone got experience of the Medtrum pump either as a standalone pump or through closed loop system with Dexcom please?
Thanks!

I have been using Medtrum for the last 3 years.
I like it but have no comparison with OmniPod.

Medtrum does not integrate with Dexcom. Medtrum has their own CGM.
Currently, it provides auto-suspends when low but does not respond to high readings.
