Meformin

Hi all again
I personally feel worse on metformin and slow release metformin than i did before i start.
I have stopped takeing anything for a few weeks to see how i get on.
How long dose it take to get out of system?

It is cleared from the body by tubular secretion and excreted unchanged in the urine; metformin is undetectable in blood plasma within 24 hours of a single oral dose. The average elimination half-life in plasma is 6.2 hours.

i was on the slow-release form for about 6 months, and it took another 6 for my digestive system to return to normal, helped along with daily doses of acidophilus.
