Members list

Can one on you experts please tell me how i can 'show' on the members board? sorry this is a technical hitch for me.
i have registered as LWA but it does not seem to appear on 'members' list
also a lot of the members have their details noted to the right hand side of there postings(?).....can you also briefly explain how to do this

LWA,

I can see you on the members list - there are 14 pages of members who's IDs begin with L - if you click on the date joined column heading, the list will be sorted by the date of joining and you appear on the first page.

As for information that appears on the right hand side panel, go to the user control panel and select the Profile tab, there you will be able to specify a signature that will appear with post, a suitably sized avatar, as well as your location.

as you were so helpful can i ask another........i pressed tab at bottom that 'marks all topics read' and i cant seem to reverse it??

I don't know the exact details about how phpBB (the software the provides the forums functionality) works but it's probably because the server doesn't "remember" which posts you hadn't read before you clicked on the option to mark all forums read. The only sensible option in that case would be to mark all forums unread, which would mean marking every post on every forum as unread by you - believe me, you'd soon be clicking on the mark all forums read option again
