I may be wrong but, as the menopause, which lasts for several years, is a time of intense hormonal fluctuations, like adolescence in reverse, isnt it common sense to come to the conclusion that the risk for type 2 diabetes being triggered and/or becoming worse during this time, is going to happen?
(rolls eyes and goes to bed)
PS the menopause isnt an event (cessation of periods) It is a progressive thing spanning several years before and after the cessation of periods.
PPS I would like to know of the lifestyle changes i can make to stop waking up 3 or 4 times a night with night sweats and night chills.
