Mother of type 1. 10 before breakfast -well Santa had just been. 10 before dinner -too much excitement all morning. Gave a big lunch dose + correction but still 17 before tea so gave correction anyway as she was not hungry but needs to come down. Consultant said have the day off so we have to make sure she still enjoys her first diabetic Christmas . I did not want any hypos today. I have had a few glasses of champagne and tried to be chilled all day and look at the positives. I must say I have had Iots support from all the forum users and loads of good advice so thank you all and happy new year. New year soon and hopefully getting a pump to use so many positives to look forward to. Would like her in target before bedtime.
Back on the diabetes wagon tomorrow !!.
