Metalic taste in mouth

recently I've been experiencing diabetes symptoms more and more as 1 random test was fine at 4.8 the doc says I don't have the condition over the past week another symptom has been a metalic taste in my mouth can diabetes start with a few symptoms in the early stage of the condition.

Maybe you have heavy metals in your body. It might be worth your while checking that.

Happens to me ..on and off I have not got an answer , wish I had , think it might be different meds for me , I keep,trying different mouth washed and I find sugar free chewing gum helps ...

I got a vile, persistent metallic taste in my mouth after starting metformin.
Couldn't bear it. So stopped.
The taste disappeared immediately.

I don't take any meds and I got my a1c back was 6.1 I think normal no action

An HbA1c is just in the Prediabetes range. I would suggest you add a little more exercise to you life and if you have weight to lose then a few pounds would be good. As for the metallic taste I am afraid I can't help there
