hi all im new t all this but can someone tell me when the meter reading is high what action should i take straightaway t get my level down i know when its low you it or drink somthing sugery so what do i do thnx

sometimes if i get a high reading i wash my hands and retest ,or you could maybe go for a walk but it isnt like a hypo when it goes too low ,its a lot easier to bring it up,if i am wrong could anyone correct me please .when you said high what number did you get dermot

if you are normally around 11 to 16 mark you would want to go back to the gp hopefully more experienced people can give you more answers you might want to say what type you are and what medication you take dermot

im type 2 and on meterformin and glyplazide i take meterformin in morn and at tea time and gliplazide at dinner time

I`m T2 and found out that if after a heavy meal maybe at a family get together a pint of larger will drop my numbers real fast.
Maybe I`m just lucky, lol.
