I've been monitoring my BG pretty closely (and at vast expense) for the past 3 months. The Aviva meter gives an average of 6 for the last 7 days, 6 for the last 14 days, 6.2 for the last 30 days, and a 90 day average of 6.8. This am my BG was 5.1, which is about the average. Two hours after meals it's usually below 5.
The problem is that there seem to be no useful analyses of long term metered readings. The relationship between them and HbA1c is also rather unclear.
