I just picked it up today. Can I take it tonight with my dinner? I still need to pick up a glucose meter but it wasn't at the pharmacy yet. Does it take a while for the meds to work? (with a low carb diet and exercise that is) and if I don't eat enough will my blood sugar drop too low?

Everyone has a different tolerance level for being too low...but many of the symptoms of high and low are similar, so you will need to learn to recognize it. It is especially dangerous to nod-off while driving or operating heavy equipments.
