I was diagnosed T1 three years ago after a severe illness which also meant the removal of my right kidney, a large tumour was discovered on scans. I have heard that Metformin is not particularly good for kidney health but I wondered if I should be cautious too. I am currently taking 500mgs twice daily. It's been bothering me a bit and I wondered if I am worrying needlessly.....
