Metformin and Trulicity injection

Can anyone tell me (Type 2 Diabetes) whether I need to take Metformin 1000g and Trulicity or whether I can drop Metformin?
 
Hi Welsh Polly you need to take both metformin is to to lower blood sugars and must be taken daily trulicity is a once a week injection used to stablelise blood sugars and will not lower them hope this helps?
 
Thank you so much for that, I didn't know how each medication acts. Why don't professionals tell you instead of just saying take this!
