I've been on Metformin for years and suffered bloating, weight gain and chronic diarrhoea. No-one seemed interested until a year ago, a new consultant (to me) changed the tablets to Metabet SR. They've changed my life, no diarrhoea, presumably better electrolyte levels, far less bloating and a lot more energy. Almost a miracle. I can't believe I put up with all those years of misery!
