I've tried it a couple of times at breakfast and simply did without bread or any other carb at that meal - just had some salad and an egg or something like that - and then ate as usual during the rest of the day and it seemed to be OK. You can, of course, opt to take it in the evening and have a carb - free meal then. Worth a go anyway. If that doesn't help then you're obviously one of those people who can't tolerate Metformin, like me, and you should talk to your GP or diabetes consultant about suitable alternatives.</blockquote>
