- Swallowing pills whole!
Hi,
I've been type 2 for about 6 years and have been taking Glucophage Metformin sachets for about 5 years and my blood sugar levels were around the 5 mark mostly. Two weeks ago I had to change to Metformin tablets because the manufactureres no longer make Glucophage Metformin sachets and now my blood sugar levels are around the 7 mark which I'm not happy about. Anyone else experiencing this? Could it be my stomach can't break down the tablets so they aren't as effective at managing my blood sugars? I struggle to swallow the tablets whole which is why I had the sachets to start with and the fact they don't seem to be working very well either is making me wonder if I should try and find something else. Is there even something else?
Any thoughts, words of wisdom or just would be good to know someone else is experiencing this too.
Kind regards
T
